Common questions
How soon can I take my first lesson?
After buying a package, you'll get instant access to our instructor calendar where you can immediately book a lesson. But even before you buy a package, you can also use our training schedule tool on this page to see all of our upcoming open slots that are available to be booked. If it's listed on our Next Available Training Slots module on this page, you can reserve that time slot for your training.
Can I book a specific instructor?
Yes. Each of our training slots lists the instructor scheduled that day. Just choose the day or instructor you want.
What kind of vehicle is used for training?
Our current training vehicle is a 2022 Kia Rio with upgrades for driving instruction, including dual brake pedals (giving the instructor the ability to slow or stop the car), combined with three additional instructor mirrors for maximum visibility around the car. Our car is regularly inspected, well-maintained, fully insured, and certified by the state for driving instruction.
What is the cancellation policy for lessons?
We understand that schedules can change, and we generally do not charge our students if they need to reschedule a lesson at the last minute. However, we do expect communication, and it helps to know as early as possible if a lesson needs to be moved to a new day or time. While we do reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee, we generally do not do so. As long as this policy isn't abused, we will work with you to get you back on our calendar as soon as possible.
